All the buildings of Uzdrowisko Cieplice
are located in the very centre of Cieplice (now a district of Jelenia Góra), right next to the picturesque old town with its architectural monuments and two vast and well-tended parks (Park Zdrojowy and Park Norweski).
Our guests
can spend their free time walking and exploring Cieplice and its surroundings. They can also use our local tourist agency, which organizes daily trips for our spa visitors.
There is a lot of excitement
waiting for you - either you walk around the resort with a guide talking about the town's interesting history, or go for a trip to Szklarska Poręba and Karpacz, Sobieszów (Chojnik Castle), the Cistercian Monastery of Krzeszów (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Złotoryja (with its Christmas tree glass ball factory) and Kowary (Miniature Park), or go hiking in the mountains or even visit Prague and Berlin.
In summer
visitors can rent a bike or an electric drive bicycle.
In winter
we invite you to go ice-skating on our artificial ice rink in Park Zdrojowy. Cieplice is an excellent base for skiers. About 20 km away from the resort there are numerous easy and more difficult slopes for downhill and cross-country skiers. The biggest skiing centres are Karpacz (over 20 downhill routes), Szklarska Poręba (Skiarena Szrenica), Jakuszyce (cross country skiing and biathlon centre) and Dziwiszów (Łysa Góra winter sports centre).
