Diadynamics


Diadymamic currents, or Bernard’s currents, are generated through concurrent application of half-wave, rectified, sinusoidal alternate current and direct current.

Therapeutic effect

Depending on which type of current of different frequency we use, the effect may be analgesic, muscle tone may decrease, blood vessels may widen, and muscles may grow. The currents can also be used to perform electrostimulation of healthy or slightly injured muscles, e.g. paresis or muscular atrophy due to inactivity.
